What is it like to live for a month in an ashram located at the foot of the Himalayan Mountains next to the turquoise waters of the Ganges River? Sit back and listen as I tell you about my colourful travels through the beautiful country of India and my life altering experience living at the Anand Prakash Yoga Ashram. Through my stories and pictures, I will share the jewels of wisdom I learned from others, what I left behind, and the intangible riches I took back home with me. I will also share with you how you too can incorporate some of the practices and rituals I learned at the ashram into your daily routines to be more mindful and increase the power of your intuition.
About Me
Erika is a professional actress and teacher based in Berlin. Erika has been teaching for over 15 years and brings her enthusiasm and zest for life and learning to all her classes whether it be for children, teenagers, or adults. Before moving to Germany in 2017, she spent a decade acting and directing theater productions and teaching Drama at several international schools in China. In Berlin she has continued her acting career on screen. Recently she plays the significant role, Theresa La Roche in the upcoming series, Contamin. Her latest film projects are NothingMan, Isabeau, Connatural Scamsters, and The Birthday Cake. Erika is proud of her work with the World Wildlife Foundation as a presenter for their international online course on Extended Producer Responsibility. In addition to acting for screen, Erika has written and performed Stand-up comedy in Berlin and has long been acting on stages internationally. In Shanghai she performed in various plays with Zuloo Productions and East West Theatre Company, the latter of which she was on the board of directors. In Nanjing, she acted and directed with International Spice Theatre Company, of which she is a founder. Erika has a Master of Science, Bachelor of Arts (History and Literature), and a Bachelor of Education. She also has a certificate in screen acting from Catalyst Institute for Creative Arts and Technology, is a certified yoga teacher, and is about to graduate as a Rapid Transformational Therapist.
